I’m one of THOSE Gluten-free People

Y’all!!!!!!!! I’m at Disneyland!!! Well I WAS when we took this pic this week. lol! 💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

 

Right now I’m curled up in Palm Springs with my laptop, working in my sweats. 🤫😂😭

 

SO guess what!!! I had been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff for awhile but this week I found out that I was not only addicted to bread (lol) but I was also suuuuper allergic to gluten. 🤦🏼‍♀️Umm that’s a pretty bad combo! #Justsaying 💁🏼‍♀️

 

SO I just kinda transformed by diet (and life) and have been #gluten-free for about 2 weeks! (My name is Rachel McCord and I’m no longer addicted to bread 😂)

 

I know, I know, I’m SUUUUPER late to the party! BUT the most amazing thing about doing it now is that I can spend an entire day out and about working (or at Disney, y’all!!!!!!) without worrying if I’m gonna feel okay! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

 

It’s not 1000000% perfect (I’m still figuring it out) but I’m working on (and working out more) and feeling better than I EVER had. 🙌🏼

 

...And my man thought I had too much energy BEFORE....hahahah! Sorry babe!! I actually have REAL energy now and am happier than ever! So this smile is TOTALLY real (plus I was at the HAPPIEST place on earth with my fav people!!)

 

I say ALLLLLL this novel-ness to give you some hope bc my health used to feel like a frustrating (and embarrassing) situation I was trapped in. I had done EVERY test my doctors could think of since I turned 16. I felt sad every time I thought about it. But there really was a way for me to feel as great as I do today!

 

So if you deal with a lot of pain and lethargy, why not just try it for 10 days? That’s how it started for me and it’s changed EVERYTHING!! ESPECIALLY how long it takes for me to order now 😂😂😂😂

 

But tbh I did have a few bites of that churro at Disney!! 🤫🙊😂
