Pissed and fabulous!

When you wake up pissed off, there are a couple options …

1. Avoid/ignore the feelings

2. Misdirect the feelings and say, “Bleep the world!”

3. Vent/let the steam out and face the emotions

It’s hard facing emotions sometimes. But, I believe that in order to go from just walking a red carpet to actually living the red carpet, we have to experience and face how we truly feel … even if it’s scary!

For me, this morning, I am a little pissed off. I had some awful dreams and I know that in order to live my day well, I’ve got to own the morning.

Here are the top 3 tips from my play book

1. Wear something that makes you feel fabulous and strong

Sometimes, the hardest part of facing my emotions is feeling out of control.

Control is just an illusion, we never really are in control of what happens.

However, I think it is important to put energy behind what we can control.

So, I opted for my bada$$ workout pants from Lucy – ones that make me feel like I can take on the world! 🙂

I know, I’m silly, but I honestly grab my Lucy athletic clothes whenever I want an awesome workout but am feeling a little down.

Lucy is great because they have mastered workout clothes that are so sexy and comfortable that I can rock them out and about in Hollywood, even when I’m not working out!

2. Get your workout on!

I have a heck of a right hook … I am JUST sayin!

3. Phone a friend!

When we have a lot of pent up energy sometimes all it takes is a big vent session to let it go (Frozen style!).

What are your tips to being pissed and fabulous?

  • I love this so much. I get my workout clothes on when I’m feeling bleh and go for a run or some yoga 🙂
