Celebs Don’t Really Like Award Shows

As Hollywood wakes up to the smell of one day old hairspray and massages their temples as if to cure a two month post-Awards hangover, the rest of the world is left wondering …

What really happens during the Awards?

One of the main reasons celebs love the Awards might surprise you, it isn’t the round tables and chicken marsala (I think that meal is served at every event) … it is the gifting lounge goodies that everyone really cares about …

Gifting Suites are a Hollywood tradition for anyone who lands their first big role in a movie or TV show.  My sisters and I have gone to all of them, but I have to say, my favorites are the official Backstage Gifting Lounges.

They take place downtown and have the best brand sponsors!

I recently attended the Grammys Official Backstage Gifting Lounge, and was obsessed with the brands present.

The title sponsor gifting celebs was Tools by Gina, the first company to create styling tools that steam your hair versus apply direct heat.

The purpose is to lock in moisture and help the hair shine.  I haven’t used it yet, but I loved watching Gina on the Emmy Award winning show, Undercover Boss, and I get the vibe that she is a true #girlboss.

Another fabulous brand was Noon VR. Gifting headsets that allow celebs to escape their — ahem, perfect  — realities into a virtual world through their Amazon application.

I was OBSESSED with Dominique Clark, pictured below with LL Cool J.

I used the headset and loved it!  I think they could be HUGE for the meditation and visualization world!
